Maggie Staiger is certified by the American College of Hypnotist
Examiners and specializes in medical hypnotherapy, including pain
and symptom removal. She has worked for many years as a 911 paramedic
in New York City, and is an Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic
Cardiac Life Support instructor. She became interested in hypnosis
when she went to a hypnotist for help with the pain of neuropathy
in her legs, which medication couldn't relieve. In three sessions,
through a combination of self-hypnosis and pain control techniques,
she was able to control the pain, and over time drastically decrease
the medication and become nearly pain-free.
Through her combination of medical knowledge, personal experience,
and hypnosis training, she is able to give people the tools to use
the power of their own minds to effect changes they would not have
thought possible. She also is the author of several books, and has
worked with painters, writers, and musicians to enhance creativity
and overcome creative blocks and obstacles.
